E-MAIL AUTHENTICATION

For security purposes there is an feature which is "pop before smtp" which requires e-mail authentication.

Please make sure that your settings are as follows:

Go to more to "Tools" followed by "Accounts".

Click on "properties"

Click on "servers". Then tick the box saying "my server requires authentication"

Click on "log on using" and fill in the exact same username and password of your email account you filled in before. (example: john-cyo)

That's it.

To see whether your account works, you can click the "Send & Receive" button.
Note: Make sure you are connected.
